Yes. A person reads every listing before it reaches you, and each match arrives with a fit report: what the role needs, where you match, where you would be stretching, and anything about the posting that looks wrong. You decide which ones to apply to, and we only build a pack when you say yes.

Who decides a role is worth sending?

Accepted Answer

A person makes the final call on every role before it reaches you. The software scans; a person reviews the shortlist against your profile before it is sent. Companies on your avoid list, including past employers, stay out of the feed as a strict rule. Roughly half of the roles we shortlist are ones clients choose to apply to, so the shortlist is meant to be a real choice.

What happens after you say yes?

Once you say yes to a role, Shortlisted gets to work on the application. A pack is built only once you have said yes to the role. If a week is thin, you are told and the search widens to nearby titles, cities, remote roles or direct outreach.
