Shortlisted provides a personalised job search service. We search job listings, assess roles against your profile, prepare tailored application materials, and, where you ask us to, approach employers on your behalf. For most roles you submit the application yourself. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interviews, or any particular number of applications.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Our current rate is shown on our website and confirmed to you before you are charged. Fees are billed monthly. There is no setup fee, no minimum term and no contract. There is no placement fee and no success fee: if you accept a role, you owe nothing beyond the monthly fee, and billing stops on the day you accept an offer. A rate agreed at signup is held for as long as you remain a continuously active client. We may change pricing for new clients at any time.
Depending on where you are, we bill either by card subscription through our payment provider, Paystack, or by a payment request we send you each month, for example by Wise or bank transfer. A card subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. A manual payment request does not renew and takes no money without your action.
You may request a full refund of your first payment within 15 days of that payment reaching us, for any reason and without explanation. The window runs from the date we receive your first payment, not from the date you signed up. Later monthly payments are not refundable, but you can stop the service at any time under section 7.
You may stop at any time, at no cost, with no notice period. If you pay by card subscription, cancel through the billing section of your portal, which takes you to our payment provider's page. If you pay by manual payment request, tell us and we will stop sending requests; there is nothing for you to cancel. When you stop, we cease work and handle your information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
You keep ownership of everything you give us. You grant us a limited licence to use it solely to deliver the service to you, which includes processing it through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
We treat your job search as confidential. You may give us a list of employers or organisations to exclude, and we will not surface roles at them or contact them. We do not approach any employer on your behalf without your instruction.
Shortlisted is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.
We may update these terms from time to time. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email. Continued use of our services after that constitutes acceptance.
